Gentle steps lead through a gated entrance where sculpted metal gecko door handles will catch your eye and welcoming Buddha statues sitting on either side of the outside dining area.

One of the many highlights of the property is the mesmerising infinity pool with ocean views. Totally private, the pool is surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens and natural rocks, the backdrop to the poolside sun loungers.

The poolside garden flows onto the villa terrace, with a spacious frontage providing delightful outdoor living space, perfect for tropical island life. The heart of the villa is the expansive lounge, with an ample sofa and chairs where guests can sit in luxury and enjoy the biggest panorama of the ocean and sunsets on the estate. Nature abounds on all sides of this large open living space, creating a very cool and flexible living experience. High vaulted ceilings, with windows all the way to the eaves ensure the room is light and the sea view always the focus.

For those who love to cook, Villa One has an exceptional fully equipped kitchen with a beautiful white quartz island complete with retractable extractor that will satisfy the most demanding chef. The lower rooms open directly onto the terrace, with airy high ceilings and full height sliding glass walls that offer fine ocean views. The first room, the Master Suite, shares views front and side and a rear garden continuing the jungle greenery. Cool white surfaces complement the white draped four-poster bed highlighted by stylish local artefacts. The second bedroom continues the white theme embellished with local bric a brac to retain the unique Villa One style. On a more practical note, the room has the option of twin beds. Both bedrooms enjoy spacious en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and ceiling mounted fans.

To the rear of the villa, a spiral staircase leads up through the lush garden foliage to a balcony and terraced entrance to the Mezzanine Studio with unparalleled views from above, out to sea. A dramatic Black & White theme makes this vast space stand alone. Self-contained and is fully equipped with its own luxury bathroom, a large 75” screen TV (Cable & Netflix), fridge, sink and coffee machine, a great place to chill out. If you have work to do, there is a desk facing the sea with those unsurpassed sunsets. On request is a printer backed with WiFi. As with all rooms, the views are breathtaking.

• Floors: The Headland Villa 1 occupies two floors:

  • Ground Floor: Main entrance, living room, dining area, kitchen, laundry, two bedrooms with private balcony, outdoor living area, mezzanine and swimming pool.

  • Second Floor: TV room, sun deck, mezzanine and atrium space.

• Capacity: The entire villa can accommodate 4 adults.

• Living Areas: There are two indoor living areas at the Villa, located downstairs and in the mezzanine. The open-plan living/dining/kitchen area has air conditioning and ceiling fan. There is a spacious living/entertainment area in the mezzanine floor with sofa, desk, TV, air conditioning, and ceiling fan. It also has an outdoor living area located on the balcony and an outdoor/pool side living area with sofa, day beds, sunbeds, and BBQ facilities.

• Pool: Measuring 10m x 2.7m x 1.6m Salt-filtrated pool; Shallow end for kids; The pools are set to normal temperature; There are two sunbeds with one umbrella; Pool towels are provided.

• Dining: A chef is available on request (extra charge), experienced in cooking Western, Chinese, and Asian cuisine, as well as vegetarian and children’s dishes. Special requests can be accommodated, including strict diets. All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) can be arranged in advance. We also provide a chef shopping service and a pre-arrival shopping service with the rates: grocery bill + 25% of grocery cost as handling fee and subject to 7% VAT. Provisioning is to be paid by cash on site or by credit card.

• Kitchen: Equipped with Oven, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, freezer, rice cooker, blender, juicer, toaster, stove top, dishwasher, and wine fridge as well as essential cooking tools, cutlery, and drinking glasses.

• Dining Areas: The dining area can seat up to 4 persons.

• Wellness: Yoga mats are available on request and the spacious garden provides a serene setting for practicing yoga. Yoga lessons can also be arranged at extra charge. In-villa treatments are available at extra charge and a nearby gym is available at extra charge.

• Entertainment: High-speed WiFi throughout and a Smart TV with an Android box and Netflix streaming services. There is also a sound system and Bose speakers. Guests staying at The Headland Villa 1 can enjoy access to The InterContinental facilities at a discounted price.

Rate Inclusions

• Rates quoted refer to the maximum occupancy of the villa, as shown in the provided publication and invoice. The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation and reservation voucher, unless specifically authorised in writing. Exceeding the number may invalidate any insurance policy on the Property. Entry or access to the Property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement.
