Sangsuri Villa 1 is a magnificent property located directly on a secluded beach just north of Chaweng in Koh Samui. With its dramatic seaview location, this designer 8-bedroom plus 2-dorm villa is the ultimate in luxurious tropical retreats that is essentially a private resort, ideal for large groups of families and friends. The villa‘s multiple levels house several bedroom pavilions that come with private sky gardens and sun terraces, all boasting fantastic views of the ocean beyond. You‘ll find plenty of communal and private spaces to explore, whether it‘s a garden that can be turned into an outdoor cinema thanks to a built-in projector screen, chic lounge areas, thatched-roof bedrooms, yoga studio, or the expansive open plan living and dining area that opens up onto the fabulous infinity pool connecting to a large panorama-view jacuzzi and leading to the powdery white beach below. Children aren‘t left out either - the upper floor houses a spacious and colourful children’s dorm with comfortable, contemporary bunk beds, whilst another room fits in six single beds for a stylish take on a sleepover.

A harmonious balance is easily achieved between in and outdoor living as you wander between the various spaces and levels that make up this impressive and expansive residence.

• Floors: Sangsuri Villa 1 occupies six floors:

  • Beach Level: One bedroom, reading sala, jacuzzi, panorama deck, cocktail/bar, lawn, beach shower, sun deck, and beach.

  • Ground Floor: Kitchen/dish wash, multi-use area, coffee bar, dining room, living/TV room, pool sala, and swimming pool.

  • Second Floor: Two bedrooms and a housekeeping room.

  • Third Floor: Two bedrooms.

  • Fourth Floor: One bedroom, game room, office, reception, gym, and welcome deck.

  • Fifth Floor: Four bedrooms including the dorm room.

• Capacity: The entire villa can accommodate 16 adults and can add up to 14 guests in the Dorm.

• Living Areas: There is an open-plan living area with oversized sofas, air conditioning, and ceiling fan. The dining room is conveniently beside the fully-equipped kitchen. There is an outdoor sala with BBQ facilities and seating area by the pool.

• Pool: Measuring 21.7m x 4.7m x 1.7m Infinity pool and 4.3m x 2.3m x 93cm Jacuzzi; Shallow end for kids; The pools are set to normal temperature; There are ten sunbeds with umbrellas and two pool salas; Pool towels are provided.

• Dining: The in-house chef is experienced in cooking Western, Thai, and Asian cuisine, as well as vegetarian and children’s dishes. Special requests can be accommodated, including strict diets. All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) can be arranged in advance. We also provide a chef shopping service and a pre-arrival shopping service with the rates: grocery bill + 25% of grocery cost as handling fee and subject to 7% VAT. Provisioning is to be paid by cash on site or by credit card.

• Kitchen: Equipped with Oven, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, freezer, rice cooker, blender, juicer, toaster, stove top, and wine chiller as well as essential cooking tools, cutlery, and drinking glasses.

• Dining Areas: The indoor dining area can seat up to 16 persons. The outdoor dining area can seat up to 20 persons.

• Wellness: Yoga mats are available on request and the spacious garden provides a serene setting for practicing yoga. Yoga lessons can also be arranged at extra charge. In-villa treatments are available at extra charge.The villa has a fully-equipped shared gym/fitness facilities (located at Sangsuri Villa 1). Complimentary two (2) Spa vouchers for each booked double bedroom (except dorm).

• Entertainment: High-speed WiFi throughout and a 75 inch TV, and IPTV with all sports, news and international TV and movie channels in the TV room. The villa also has a BOSE sound system. Watersport equipment such as kayaks and paddle board are available for guest's use and swimming pool.

• Other facilities: The villa features a games room, large lawn, volleyball, table tennis, back-up generator, safety deposit box, hairdryers, universal adapter, and CCTV. Wake up call service available upon request.

• Parking: Sufficient parking garage is available.

• Year built / refurbished: Built in 2010; Refurbished in 2014.

• Surface total area: 4,000 sqm (land).

Weddings & Events

• The villa can accommodate up to a maximum of 80 guests, combination of seating and standing (including guests staying in the villa).
• For any events/weddings with more than 80 guests, guest may be required to book 2 villas in the Sangsuri Estate; for events/wedding more than 120 guests, guest may be required to book 3 villas in the Sangsuri Estate to use the beachfront lawn.
• Minimum nights stay: 3 nights for low/shoulder; 5 nights for high season; 7 nights for peak season.
• Event fees: USD 500 for up to 30 guests; USD 800 for up to 60 guests; USD 1,200 for up to 80 guests; USD 2,000 for up to 120 guests. All event fees are subject to a 7% tax.
• If the event involves having exceeded 45 guests, USD 3,000 for security deposit will be required; THB 50,000 if less than 45 guests and an optional of 50% of the event fee for pre/post-event fee. Provided that the second function is beyond 24 hours from the main event.
• Music and event curfew is until 12 midnight only.
• Kindly note that we are an advocate for the prevention of cruelty and ethical care of elephants and wildlife. We do not allow nor condone the hiring and use of elephants and/or other wildlife for any events held in the villa and in the immediate surrounding areas of the villa i.e. beach.
• Fireworks are not allowed at Sangsuri Estate due to safety reasons.
• Sky Lanterns are prohibited by the local government in Koh Samui.
• Event guidelines and accurate quotation are available on request only.

Rate Inclusions

• Rates include Welcome drink, daily breakfast, complimentary welcome lunch or dinner with 2 bottles of wine, complimentary 2 Spa vouchers (60 minutes) for each double room booked (excluding the Dorm room), complimentary farewell beach front movie night with 2 bottles of sparkling wine, complimentary WiFi, and services by the villa team (Villa manager, private chef, housekeeper, 2 gardeners, pool attendant, maintenance staff, pool/Jacuzzi/pond cleaner, and security).
• Private Chef service included. In-villa shopping: THB 300 or 25% of grocery cost (whichever is higher) + 7% VAT. Pre-arrival shopping: THB 650 or 25% of grocery cost (whichever is higher) + 7% VAT.
• A driver and car rental service is available upon request (extra charge).
• Complimentary one round-trip airport transfer.
• Additional airport transfer service is available upon request (extra charge).
• Spa treatments, massages services, and additional yoga sessions are available upon request (extra charge).
• Tours and activities such as art and cultural excursions, cooking lessons are available upon request (extra charge).

Child Policy & Extra Bedding

• A complimentary two baby cots and one high chair are available at the villa.
• An additional baby cot is charged at USD $10++ per unit per day and an additional high chair is charged at USD $5++ per unit per day.
• Babysitting service available on request at extra charge.
• Children under 2 years old can stay for free when sharing existing bedding with parents.
• Extra bed is available at USD $50++ per person per night. Only three (3) additional beds can be arranged.
• Rates quoted refer to the maximum occupancy of the villa, as shown in the provided publication and invoice. The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation and reservation voucher, unless specifically authorised in writing. Exceeding the number may invalidate any insurance policy on the Property. Entry or access to the Property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement.
