This luxury villa gets its name from the trees nearby — Kelapa means coconut in the Malay language. Designed to blend into its spectacular surroundings, this glass house appears to float above the hill slopes. The ceiling and decking are clad in local Balau wood, as a nod to the villa’s tropical context.

You’ll love the stylish living and dining areas, which are tastefully furnished with B&B Italia, Poltrona Frau and more designer brands. An outdoor dining area and kitchen are a perfect venue for barbecue meals, which can be staffed by a private chef upon request. Plus, enjoy the Alfred-like butler services at this fully-staffed property; the villa team will faithfully attend to your needs throughout your stay.

• Floors: Kelapa House occupies four floors:

  • Ground Floor: Four bedrooms, including the master bedroom, and gym facilities.

  • Lower Second Floor: Main entrance, main dining area, air-conditioned living room, fully equipped kitchen, and infinity pool.

  • Lower Third Floor: Media room.

  • Lower Fourth Floor: Massage beds/spa & garden.

• Capacity: The entire villa can accommodate 8 adults.

• Living Areas: The main communal space is an air-conditioned living area that is conveniently located next to the dining area. There’s also an outdoor dining near the pool.

• Pool: Saltwater Pool measures 17m x 1.35m x 5.5m; Has a shallow end for kids; The pool is set to a normal temperature; There are four sunbeds; Pool towels are provided.

• Dining: The in-house chef is experienced in cooking Western, Thai and Asian cuisine, as well as vegetarian and children’s dishes. Special requests can be accommodated, including strict diets. All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) can be arranged in advance. We also provide a chef shopping service and a pre-arrival shopping service with the rates: grocery bill + 25% of grocery cost as handling fee and subject to 7% VAT. A curated selection of wines and spirits is also available. The list can be provided in advance.

• Kitchen: Equipped with Oven, refrigerators, juicer, blender, toaster, rice cooker, microwave oven, freezer, stove, wine fridge, wine cellar, water dispenser, dishwasher and essential cooking tools, cutlery, and glasses.

• Dining Areas: The main indoor dining area features a rectangular table that seats 10 guests, with 12 additional seats at the outdoor dining area and 10 more at the kitchen counter.

• Wellness: The villa features a dedicated area for gym facilities, a sauna, and a steam room. Yoga mats and massage beds are provided, and additional yoga lessons can be arranged upon request for an extra charge. In-villa treatments are also available upon request (extra charge).

• Entertainment: High-speed WiFi is available throughout the villa, along with a dedicated media room equipped with wide screen, LG sound system in the living room, 75-inch Smart TV with Netflix, Disney Plus and Amazon Prime streaming in the common area, and Sonos Bluetooth speakers. Along with a selection of board games.

• Other facilities: The villa has a fire extinguishers, first aid kit, and universal adapter, CCTV coverage. Wake up call service available upon request.

• Parking: Sufficient parking space is available for 2 cars.

Weddings & Events

• Maximum number of guests: 20 guests (maximum seating capacity) or 20 guests (maximum standing capacity)
• If the guest is planning to hold an event, such as a party where any pre-planning is required, the guest needs to pay USD 1,200 + 7% tax as an event fee for up to 20 guests.
• An additional fee of THB 2,000 has to be provided to the Villa Manager, payable by the event organiser for the indirect support given (please note that this is not considered as a tip).
• For smaller group events (under 12 people) using the villa’s own facilities and staff, a coordination fee of THB 10,000 is required.
• Where number of guests is less than 1.5 times of the occupancy of the villa for small group events. Security deposit of THB 50,000 will be collected.

• Security deposit is refundable provided no damage or deep cleaning at the villa is required. Minimum 3 nights stay is required during intermediate and high seasons. Minimum 5 nights stay is required during peak season. Minimum 7 nights stay is required for the Christmas and New Year season.
• Guest is required to have an event organiser when an event fee is charged.
• Outdoor music curfew is until 11pm only. Parties may continue until 2am if held indoor in the breakfast room.
• Kindly note that we are an advocate for the prevention of cruelty and ethical care of elephants and wildlife. We do not allow nor condone the hiring and use of elephants and/or other wildlife for any events held in the villa and in the immediate surrounding areas of the villa i.e. beach.
• Fireworks are only allowed for weddings, and a permit needs to be approved by local authorities at least 2 weeks before the event.
• Sky Lanterns are also prohibited by the local government in Koh Samui.

Child Policy & Extra Bedding

• Additional baby cot is charged at USD $10++ per unit per day and additional high chair is charged at USD $5++ per unit per day.

• Pool fences are available on request at extra charge.
• Children under 4 years old can stay for free when sharing existing bedding with parents.
• Extra bed is available at USD $50++ per person per night. Only two (2) additional daybeds can be arranged for this property.
• Rates quoted refer to the maximum occupancy of the villa, as shown in the provided publication and invoice. The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation and reservation voucher, unless specifically authorised in writing. Exceeding the number may invalidate any insurance policy on the Property. Entry or access to the Property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement.
