Baan Bua Sawan

Baan Bua Sawan is an enviable private tropical retreat. Baan Bua Sawan is a beautiful holiday villa with an interesting split-level layout comprising two pavilions designed in contemporary tropical style. The spaces are characterised by superbly crafted, teakwood and woven-wood furnishings, high quality fixtures, and a tasteful décor featuring many interesting Thai wall hangings, artefacts and colourful paintings. The villa has four bedrooms, a private swimming pool and glorious views of the ocean, with the beach a mere 50 metres away.

The living area comes with comfortable water hyacinth furniture, a sophisticated selection of ornaments, artwork and accessories, carved elephants and a Smart TV, while the dining area is furnished with a wooden dining table and eight rattan chairs. The integrated kitchen is fully fitted with wooden units and top of the range appliances, and a central island that doubles as a breakfast bar. There’s also a Thai style kitchen outside on the terrace.

The 12-metre infinity pool is lined with cool azure blue tiles and bordered by a wooden deck furnished with cushioned sun loungers and parasols. At one end is a shaded poolside sala, which serves as an alfresco dining pavilion. Wherever you choose to dine at Baan Bua Sawan, you can enjoy authentic Thai specialties – as well as international favourites prepared by the resident chef.

Baan Bua Sawan has four bedrooms, each with a Smart TV and a private ensuite bathroom. Three rooms have king-sized beds and one room has twin beds. The master bedroom is on the top level of the bedroom pavilion, the two double guest rooms are on the middle floor, level with the pool, both have sliding doors to the pool deck and one also has a sea view.

The twin bedroom is on the ground floor and features a glass wall of sliding doors leading into an attractive inner garden and atrium. The ensuite bathrooms for the three guestrooms are all fitted with rain showers. The master bedroom opens out to a balcony with fabulous views of the open sea. It is furnished with a king-sized canopied four-poster bed facing the panoramic vista. It has a private lounge with a TV and an office area, as well as an ensuite bathroom with the additional luxury of an oversized scenic bathtub as well as a rain shower.

• Floors: Baan Bua Sawan occupies three floors:

  • Ground Floor: Main entrance, one bedroom, outdoor dining area, staff quarters, car park, and swimming pool.

  • Second Floor: Two bedrooms, living room, indoor dining room, and kitchen.

• Third Floor: Master bedroom.

• Capacity: The entire villa can accommodate 8 adults.

• Living Areas: There is an indoor living area with over-sized sofa and air conditioning. The indoor dining room, located on the second floor, is conveniently beside the kitchen and counter top. There’s also an outdoor area with dining table, that can sit up to 8 persons, BBQ facilities and a seating area by the pool.

• Pool: Measuring 12m x 4.7m x 1.8m infinity pool; Shallow end for kids; The pools are set to normal temperature; There are three sunbeds and pool umbrellas; Pool towels are provided.

• Dining: A chef is available on request (extra charge), experienced in cooking Western, Thai, and Asian cuisine, as well as vegetarian and children’s dishes. Special requests can be accommodated, including strict diets. All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) can be arranged in advance. We also provide a chef shopping service and a pre-arrival shopping service with the rates: grocery bill + 25% of grocery cost as handling fee and subject to 7% VAT. Provisioning is to be paid by cash on site or by credit card.

• Kitchen: Equipped with Oven, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, freezer, rice cooker, blender, juicer, toaster, and stove top (electric & gas) as well as essential cooking tools, cutlery, and drinking glasses.

• Dining Areas: The indoor dining area can seat up to 10 persons and the outdoor dining area can seat up to 8 persons.

• Wellness: Yoga mats are available on request and the spacious garden provides a serene setting for practicing yoga. Yoga lessons can also be arranged at extra charge. In-villa treatments are available at extra charge.

• Entertainment: High-speed WiFi throughout and a Smart TV in living room and all bedrooms. The sound system is for indoor sala only. Watersport equipment such as kayaks are available for guest's use and swimming pool.

• Other facilities: The villa features a universal adapter and wake up call service available upon request.

Rate Inclusions

• Rates include Welcome drink, daily breakfast, complimentary WiFi, and services by villa team (Villa manager, housekeeper, handyman) with 24-hours gated security.
• Private Chef service is available upon request (extra charge). In-villa shopping: THB 300 or 25% of grocery cost (whichever is higher) + 7% VAT. Pre-arrival shopping: THB 650 or 25% of grocery cost (whichever is higher) + 7% VAT.
• A driver and car rental service is available upon request (extra charge).
• One-way or return airport transfer service is available upon request (extra charge).

Child Policy & Extra Bedding

• A baby cot/high chair is available for free upon request.
• An additional baby cot is charged at USD $10++ per unit per day and an additional high chair is charged at USD $5++ per unit per day.
• Babysitting service available on request at extra charge.
• Children under 2 years old can stay for free when sharing existing bedding with parents.
• Extra bed is available at USD $50++ per person per night. Only two (2) additional beds can be arranged for this property.
• Rates quoted refer to the maximum occupancy of the villa, as shown in the provided publication and invoice. The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation and reservation voucher, unless specifically authorised in writing. Exceeding the number may invalidate any insurance policy on the Property. Entry or access to the Property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement.
