If you're in the mood to stay in a charming former coconut plantation complete with eight 100-year old Malay traditional wooden houses that have been dismantled from the mainland and transported to Langkawi island, then lovingly restored, you've come to the right place.
Bon Ton is a Malaysian institution (that counts Condé Nast as fans), not simply because of its unusual concept, but also for its genuine service, famous Nam Restaurant that attracts visitors from all corners of the world and the furry animals that share residence with guests thanks to the owner's other project - Langkawi Animal Shelter & Sanctuary Foundation. Our favourite things? Wooden bathtubs, richly textured Malaysian fabrics, breakfast baskets, mango daiquiries, lazing by the central pool and how everyone knows your name.
The resort is a 7-10 minute drive from Langkawi airport and 2 minutes to Pantai Cenang, one of the island's best beaches. The resort does not provide airport transfers. However, you may easily catch a taxi from the airport that would cost around RM 18 to RM 28 per taxi per way.
The resort can host weddings and special occasions with an occupancy of 80 for dining in Nam Restaurant, 12 in the Private Dining Room, 50 for cocktails on the Sunset Deck, 25 for cocktails in Chin Chin Bar & Lounge as well as more space in the Garden & Pool.
Rates shown are based on double occupancy (unless specified otherwise) inclusive of Continental Breakfast (Breads, Jam, Honey, Butter, Fruits, Yoghurt, Homemade Cake, Juice, Milk) and a welcome drink upon arrival. Breakfast will be delivered to your room in a basket the night before.
Free WiFi throughout the resort and a computer/printer is available for use if required.

A Tourism Fee surcharge of MYR5/room/night applicable for all bookings and to be paid directly to the resort upon arrival.
A Tourism Tax surcharge of MYR10/room/night nett will be collected from all non-Malaysian national or permanent resident guests. This fee is not included in the reservation and will be collected upon check-out for stays from 1 September 2017.
For any guest staying over Dec 31st 2017, please be informed that there will be a compulsory New Years Eve Dinner.
