Kazahana at Hanaridge

Located at the Hanaridge Estate in Niseko’s Hanazono forest, Kazahana is a contemporary chalet designed by architect Riccardo Tossani, swathed in wood and neutral hues. Spanning 500sqm, the luxury chalet boasts a streamlined design and five bedrooms that accommodate up to 14 people. Cocoon in the media room, grab a bottle from the wine cellar or soak in the indoor and outdoor hot-spring onsen.

Kazahana features two master bedrooms with king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms fitted with sculptural Hinoki bathtubs. It also has one bedroom and two other bedrooms with two bunk beds each, accommodating a total of 14 people. With soaring ceilings, the central living and dining area offers spectacular views through the panoramic picture windows; it also has a wine cellar under the spiral staircase. The space speaks of sophistication with unique objets d’art and curated art pieces peppered throughout.

For relaxation, one can cocoon in the dedicated media room. The biggest highlight is the exclusive stone and timber indoor and outdoor hot-spring onsen, designed to be enjoyed with a view of Mount Yotei against a backdrop of trees.

• Complimentary Concierge Service with our Guest Experience Team including arrangement of Airport Transfers, Ski & Snowboarding Essentials (Lift Passes, Lessons, Gear Rental), other Snow Activities, Car Hire, and Restaurant Reservations.
• Upon check-in, there will be complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, body soap, hand soap, conditioning shampoo, dishwasher powder, washing powder, tissues and cleaning products.

Child Policy & Extra Bedding

• Extra person (6 years old and above) counts toward maximum occupancy allowed for each unit.
• A child 5 years old and below can stay for free in existing bedding. We strongly recommend for all infants to sleep in cots. We do not recommend for infants to share existing bedding with family or to exceed the maximum occupancy allowed. 
• Extra bedding for infant (5 years old and below) is a baby cot/futon at JPY 5,000 per child per 4-night block. High chair is free of charge (advance booking is required).
• Extra person (6 years old and above) fee of JPY 12,000 per person per night is applicable when occupants exceed the standard occupancy for the respective unit. An extra futon will be arranged in the living room and not in the bedrooms due to limited space.
• In the situation that an extra guest stays for only part of the nights booked, the extra person fee still applies for the total nights of the group stay. 
• Maximum of 2 extra persons allowed.

Bedding Preference

• Bedding may be flexible in the accommodation, but varies bedroom to bedroom.
• Bedding will be arranged in the standard bedding configuration (twin bedding) unless specified otherwise in writing to [email protected] at least 1 month prior to arrival date. 
• Where bedding configuration is not supplied within the required time-frame or is incorrect on check-in and needs to be changed, an amendment fee of JPY 5,000 per bedroom will be charged. 

Cleaning Service

• Service Clean every 2nd day (includes light clean of rooms, replacement of towels and garbage removal).
• Mid Clean every 4th day for stays over 5 nights (includes service clean plus change of linen and vacuum-cleaning of rooms).
• Please note that the accommodation is to be tidy and all cutlery, crockery, kitchenware must be washed upon check-out. A fee will be charged if additional cleaning is required.

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: 3 PM.
• Check-in will be at the property. Guests must advise our Reservations team of their estimated time of arrival in advance.    - Copies of passports and credit card details for security deposit are required at check-in.
• Check-out: 10 AM.    - All luggage and personal belongings must be removed from rooms by the check-out time.
• No late check-out is permitted during Peak Season. There will be a late check-out fee of JPY 15,000 for a check-out not later than 12 PM and a full nightly charge for check-out after 12 PM.
• Early check-in/late check-out requests will be subject to availability on arrival/departure to the property.

Property Regulations

• Guests accept responsibility for damage to the property, the room (including common areas), fittings, furniture, keys and other properties caused during their occupation, including any consequential losses incurred.
• No smoking is allowed in the property (includes balcony areas). Guests who smoke will be liable to pay a JPY 500,000 fine and additional damage charges may apply to compensate later guests who are affected by the smell of smoking or the owner of the property for bookings that need to be relocated to a different property.
• No pets are allowed at any accommodation, either inside, outside or remaining in vehicles parked at the accommodation.
