Baan Chang is the largest beachfront villa in the estate! An embodiment of style and tranquillity, this private beachfront getaway is the largest of all six Dhevatara Cove Estate villas. Tucked in a pristine cove near Nathon in Koh Samui, you’re welcomed by manicured gardens, an unspoiled expanse of sandy beach and the gentle symphony of breaking waves. Only 45 minutes by car from the Samui International Airport, it’s ideally suited for big families and groups of friends. Its five bedrooms, spread over two floors, comfortably accommodate 10 guests.

Using a medley of large French windows, high ceilings and sliding glass doors, you’re treated to the best of indoor-outdoor living. Spend lazy hours on the sprawling pool deck, which has a daybed and 10 sunbeds with parasols. Dive into the 18.5 metre infinity pool and cool off amidst picture-perfect vistas of the ocean. Equally stunning are the views from the outdoor dining sala, which offers access to the beach. After gorging on excess calories, you can hit the communal gym and shared sauna. There is also a bubbling jacuzzi in the villa for easy relaxation.

Heading indoors, you’re cocooned by dewy white walls, robust wooden furnishing and a laid-back tropical ambience. Ceiling fans and AC keep you cool at all times. Plop down on the oversized sofa and enjoy board games with your family. Choose an engrossing read from the book shelf or watch a movie on the LED Smart TV, which comes with a CD/DVD Player. There is also an iPod dock, BOSE Bluetooth speakers and sound system. If you’re working remotely, make use of the comfy study corner and free Wi-Fi.

The kitchen is modern and fully-functioning, with an island and bar stools. Amenities include a microwave, coffee machine, fridge, freezer, rice cooker, stove top, wine chiller and an oven. Get the BBQ sizzling and gather at the 12-person circular dining table for convivial meals.

Two of the bedrooms are located near the entrance, while the remaining three feature a private sea view terrace (with a daybed), beach facing and poolside views. All five have an ample king-size bed, Smart TV, walk-in wardrobe and air conditioning. Each of the bathrooms is ensuite, with a freestanding bath tub and rain shower.

• Floors: Baan Chang occupies two floors:

  • Ground Floor: Main entrance, living room, dining area, kitchen, four bedrooms, study room, outdoor beach sala, beach, and swimming pool.

  • Second Floor: Master bedroom, hillside sala, entry sala, staff quarters, and car park.

• Capacity: The entire villa can accommodate 10 adults.

• Living Areas: There is a living room with a long oversized sofa, air conditioning, and ceiling fan. It is conveniently located beside the dining area with a circular dining table, modern kitchen with counter top. There’s also an outdoor beach sala with BBQ facilities, dining area, and access to the beach that has daybeds and lounge area.

• Pool: Measuring 18.5m x 5.3m x 1.8m Infinity pool with built-in Jacuzzi; Shallow end for kids; The pools are set to normal temperature; There are ten sunbeds with umbrellas and two daybeds by the pool and at the master bedroom’s private balcony; Pool towels are provided.

• Dining: The in-house chef is experienced in cooking Western, Chinese, and Asian cuisine, as well as vegetarian and children’s dishes. Special requests can be accommodated, including strict diets. All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) can be arranged in advance. We also provide a chef shopping service and a pre-arrival shopping service with the rates: grocery bill + 25% of grocery cost as handling fee and subject to 7% VAT. Provisioning is to be paid by cash on site or by credit card.

• Kitchen: Equipped with Oven, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, freezer, rice cooker, blender, juicer, toaster, stove top, and wine chiller as well as essential cooking tools, cutlery, and drinking glasses.

• Dining Areas: The indoor dining area can seat up to 12 persons. The outdoor dining area can seat up to 10 persons.

• Wellness: Yoga mats are available on request and the spacious garden provides a serene setting for practicing yoga. Yoga lessons can also be arranged at extra charge. In-villa treatments are available at extra charge. Sauna and gym/fitness facilities are shared within the estate.

• Entertainment: High-speed WiFi throughout and a Smart TV and Satellite TV. There is also a CD/DVD player, iPod dock, BOSE bluetooth speakers, and a sound system. Watersport equipment such as kayak is available for guest's use and swimming pool.

• Other facilities: The villa features yoga mats, four massage beds, books and board games, safety deposit box, hairdryers, universal adapter, back-up generator, and CCTV. Wake up call service available upon request.

• Parking: Sufficient parking garage is available.

• Year built / refurbished: Built in 2007; Refurbished in 2017.

• Surface total area: 2,100 sqm (land).

Weddings & Events

• If the guest is planning to hold an event, such as a wedding or party where any pre-planning is required, guest needs to pay USD 1,200 + 7% tax as an event fee and an optional USD 600 + 7% tax for pre/post-event day event fee.
• Where number of guests exceed 1.5 times of the occupancy of the villa, a security deposit of THB 100,000 will be collected.
• Where number of guests is less than 1.5 times of the occupancy of the villa for small group events, a security deposit of THB 50,000 will be collected.
• The villa can accommodate up to a maximum of 40 guests (combination of seating and standing, including villa guests).
• Music and event curfew is until 12 midnight only.
• Kindly note that we are an advocate for the prevention of cruelty and ethical care of elephants and wildlife. We do not allow nor condone the hiring and use of elephants and/or other wildlife for any events held in the villa and in the immediate surrounding areas of the villa i.e. beach.
• Fireworks are only allowed for weddings and a permit needs to be approved by local authorities at least 2 weeks before the event.
• Sky Lanterns are prohibited by the local government in Koh Samui.
• Event guidelines and an accurate quotation are available on request.

Rate Inclusions

• Rates include Welcome drink, daily breakfast, complimentary WiFi, and services by villa team (Villa manager, private chef, housekeeper, and securities).
• Private Chef service included. In-villa shopping: THB 300 or 25% of grocery cost (whichever is higher) + 7% VAT. Pre-arrival shopping: THB 650 or 25% of grocery cost (whichever is higher) + 7% VAT.
• A driver and car rental service is available upon request (extra charge).
• One-way or return airport transfer service is available upon request (extra charge).
• Spa treatments, massages services and additional yoga sessions are available upon request (extra charge).
• Tours and activities such as art and cultural excursions, cooking lessons are available upon request (extra charge).

Child Policy & Extra Bedding

• A complimentary baby cot and high chair is available at the villa.
• Additional baby cot is charged at USD $10++ per unit per day and additional high chair is charged at USD $5++ per unit per day.
• Babysitting service available on request at extra charge.
• Children under 2 years old can stay for free when sharing existing bedding with parents.
• Extra bed is available at USD $50++ per person per night. Only two (2) additional beds can be arranged for this property.
• Rates quoted refer to the maximum occupancy of the villa, as shown in the provided publication and invoice. The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation and reservation voucher, unless specifically authorised in writing. Exceeding the number may invalidate any insurance policy on the Property. Entry or access to the Property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement.
