La Lagune

La Lagune is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Only a few steps from Baan Talay beach, La Lagune is a stylish, beachfront retreat with modern designs. Comprising a symphony of glass, stone and wood, it immediately wraps you in a feeling of warmth and luxury. Its location couldn’t be better — tucked away in a pristine area of the island, free of neighbours and with direct access to the beach. 10 guests can comfortably stay in its five bedrooms.

Walking in, you’re met with a lush landscape that houses a tennis court on one side and the villa buildings on the other. There’s a private gym and playroom, with a host of activities like table tennis, board games, Mahjong tiles to keep you entertained. The central courtyard leads to a sprawling white-stone patio and BBQ lounge area. Here, you’re treated to panoramic sights of the lapping waves. For an even better view, jump into the 13-metre, saltwater infinity pool, which overlooks the sea. It has a slide and shallow zone specifically for kids. Enjoy a soak in the outdoor jacuzzi and laze idly on the coconut tree hammocks or parasol-shaded sun beds. When it comes to dining with a view, what’s better than a poolside outdoor sala or a breezy dining area?

The indoor spaces connect seamlessly to the outside through fold-away glass panes. You’re seeped in natural light, while enjoying a fully air-conditioned setting. Make yourself comfy on the oversized sofas and turn on the Smart TV or CD/DVD Player. Connect to the free WiFi and stay in touch with people back home.

The gourmet kitchen is state-of-the-art, complete with a wine refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, rice cooker and an oven. For meal times, get cosy at the 12-seater indoor dining table.

All the bedrooms are equipped with a satellite TV and AC. The master suite has a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and ocean views. Out of the four remaining bedrooms, two have twin beds and two feature queen beds. Each has an ensuite bathroom, fitted with a rain shower.

Perfectly suited for families and groups of friends, the villa boasts gorgeous dawn or sunset views from every part, depending on the time of year.

• Floors: La Lagune occupies one floor:

  • Ground Floor: Main entrance, living room, five bedrooms, outdoor area, staff house, gym area, playroom, beach sala, and swimming pool.

• Capacity: The entire villa can accommodate 10 adults.

• Living Areas: There is an indoor living area with oversized sofas and ceiling fan. The playroom also has a sofa, TV, and air-conditioning. There is an outdoor living area with an L-shaped sofa facing the pool and beach, ceiling fan, and BBQ facilities.

• Pool: Measuring 13m x 6m x 1.42m Infinity pool with saltwater and an outdoor jacuzzi; Shallow end for kids; The pools are set to normal temperature; There are six sunbeds with umbrellas and one hammock with pool sala; Pool towels are provided.

• Dining: The in-house chef is experienced in cooking Western, Thai, and Asian cuisine, as well as vegetarian and children’s dishes. Special requests can be accommodated, including strict diets. All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) can be arranged in advance. We also provide a chef shopping service and a pre-arrival shopping service with the rates: grocery bill + 25% of grocery cost as handling fee and subject to 7% VAT. Provisioning is to be paid by cash on site or by credit card.

• Kitchen: Equipped with Oven, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, freezer, rice cooker, blender, juicer, toaster, and stove top as well as essential cooking tools, cutlery, and drinking glasses.

• Dining Areas: The indoor dining area can seat up to 10 persons.

• Wellness: Yoga mats are available on request and the spacious garden provides a serene setting for practicing yoga. Yoga lessons can also be arranged at extra charge. In-villa treatments are available on request at extra charge. There is a private gym/fitness facilities and massage sala with two massage beds.

• Entertainment: High-speed WiFi throughout and a Smart TV and Satellite TV. There is also a CD/DVD player, outdoor sound system, private tennis court, table tennis, board games, and mahjong tiles. Watersport equipment such as kayaks are available for guest's use and swimming pool.

• Other facilities: The villa features a large private lawn (Tennis), volleyball with net (on request), wine refrigerator, safety deposit box, hairdryers, and universal adapter. Wake up call service available upon request.

• Parking: Sufficient parking garage is available.

• Surface total area: 4,500 sqm (land).

Weddings & Events

• If the guest is planning to hold an event, such as a wedding or party, which involves having exceeded the maximum number of guest allowed at each villa, guest needs to pay USD 1,200 + 7% tax as an event fee with an extra USD 3,500 for security deposit and an optional USD 600 + 7% tax for pre/post-event fee. 

• The villa can accommodate up to a maximum of 150 guests (combination of both seating and standing).
• Music and event curfew is until 12 midnight only.
• Kindly note that we are an advocate for the prevention of cruelty and ethical care of elephants and wildlife. We do not allow nor condone the hiring and use of elephants and/or other wildlife for any events held in the villa and in the immediate surrounding areas of the villa i.e. beach.
• Fireworks are only allowed for weddings and a permit needs to be approved by local authorities at least 2 weeks before the event.
• Sky Lanterns are prohibited by the local government in Koh Samui.
• Event guidelines and an accurate quotation are available on request.

Rate Inclusions

• Rates include Welcome drink, daily breakfast, complimentary WiFi, and services by the villa team (Villa manager, private chef, and housekeeper, and securities).
• Private Chef service included. In-villa shopping: THB 300 or 25% of grocery cost (whichever is higher) + 7% VAT. Pre-arrival shopping: THB 650 or 25% of grocery cost (whichever is higher) + 7% VAT.
• A driver and car rental service is available upon request (extra charge).
• One-way or return airport transfer service is available upon request (extra charge).
• Spa treatments, massages services, and additional yoga sessions are available upon request (extra charge).
• Tours and activities such as art and cultural excursions, cooking lessons are available upon request (extra charge).

Child Policy & Extra Bedding

• A complimentary baby cot and two high chairs are available at the villa.
• An additional baby cot is charged at USD $10++ per unit per day and an additional high chair is charged at USD $5++ per unit per day.
• Babysitting service available on request at extra charge.
• Children under 2 years old can stay for free when sharing existing bedding with parents.
• Extra bed is available at USD $50++ per person per night. Only two (2) additional beds can be arranged.
• Rates quoted refer to the maximum occupancy of the villa, as shown in the provided publication and invoice. The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation and reservation voucher, unless specifically authorised in writing. Exceeding the number may invalidate any insurance policy on the Property. Entry or access to the Property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement.
