The View Samui is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Named for its breathtaking clifftop views over the Western coast of Koh Samui, this 4+2 bedroom villa earns every single bit of its hype and stripes with its 180 degree views from each of its ensuite bedrooms. Features to love are the floor-to-ceiling windows that encompass the bedrooms and living spaces, the villa’s natural cliff face setting surrounded by tropical garden, and a pond complete with waterfall.

Surrounded by lush greenery and soothed by cool sea breezes, The View is a state-of-the-art villa with sophisticated sound and lighting systems, fitted speakers, indoor and outdoor projector screens; so you’ll always be well-entertained. There’s also the floating glass staircases, a resort-style kitchen, a dedicated massage sala, yoga deck, a fully equipped gym and wraparound balconies. The flat lawn is also the place to be for a game of football or lawn croquet.

And did we mention a 16.5m infinity pool and jacuzzi, plus terrace, bar and more lounge areas? Come five o’clock, the pool is the perfect place for sundowners as you look out to Samui’s talked about sunset.

When it comes to the bedrooms, you’ll be spoilt for choice. In total, split across two floors, are four ensuite ocean facing bedrooms, which include two ensuite master suites with king-sized beds and large bathrooms, and two more ensuite rooms with king-sized beds. The fifth bedroom has a Hollywood twin bed (which has an option to become a King) and is located in the garden, and is adjacent to the children’s room; perfect for the nanny or that single friend.

The children’s room is like something out of a storybook. A specially customised room, the bunk beds are adorned with nautical-inspired circular white windows that look out to the garden, creating a whimsical feel. In total, there are six bunk beds and 3 pullout beds - perfect for the ultimate slumber party. A large TV also means the children can stay entertained for a day indoors.

All rooms come with private balconies, remotely operated lights and blinds, a 32" flat-screen, cable TV, DVD player; internet access and iPod docking station, in addition to the central AV system feed.

Good to Know

  • Floors: The View Samui occupies three floors:

    • Ground Floor: Main entrance, open-space living area, mini bar, outdoor dining, massage sala, fully equipped gym, lawn area, swimming pool, and Jacuzzi.

    • Second Floor: Indoor living room, dining area and fully-equipped kitchen, and yoga deck.

    • Third Floor: Five bedrooms, including the master bedroom and a kids' room.

  • Capacity: The entire villa can accommodate 10 adults and 6 children; up to 2 additional guests allowed (extra charge).

  • Living Areas: There is an indoor living area with an oversized sofa, pull-down screen projectors, air conditioning, and ceiling fan. There’s also an outdoor living area by the pool with two sofas, pull-down screen projectors, fan, sound system, and BBQ facilities.

  • Pool: Measuring 16.5m x 3.5m x 1.6m Infinity pool with built-in Jacuzzi; Shallow end for kids; The pools are set to normal temperature; There are eight sunbeds, four umbrellas, and two lounge areas; Pool towels are provided.

  • Dining: The in-house chef is experienced in cooking Western, Chinese, and Asian cuisine, as well as vegetarian and children’s dishes. Special requests can be accommodated, including strict diets. All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) can be arranged in advance. We also provide a chef shopping service and a pre-arrival shopping service with the rates: grocery bill + 25% of grocery cost as handling fee and subject to 7% VAT. Provisioning is to be paid by cash on site or by credit card.

  • Kitchen: Equipped with Oven, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, freezer, rice cooker, blender, juicer, toaster, stove top, and wine fridge as well as essential cooking tools, cutlery, and drinking glasses.

  • Dining Areas: The indoor dining area can seat up to 22 persons. The outdoor dining area can seat up to 8 persons.

  • Wellness: Yoga mats are available on request and the spacious garden provides a serene setting for practicing yoga. Yoga lessons can also be arranged at extra charge. In-villa treatments are available at extra charge. The villa features fully-equipped fitness facilities.

  • Entertainment: High-speed WiFi throughout and Apple TV, media projectors, and Google Home. It also has a Mac computer with Netflix, DVD player, and sound system. There is also an indoor and outdoor sound system, board games, mahjong, CD/DVD player, Google Play, iPod/iTunes collection of 40,000+ songs, and Karaoke. Watersport equipment such as kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and a standing paddle board is available for guest's use and swimming pool.

  • Other facilities: The villa features table tennis, croquet, cricket equipment, soccer ball, bicycles, Yoga/Muay Thai at the lawn/deck area, massage sala with two (2) massage beds, fully-equipped private gym, indoor waterfall garden, two (2) hammocks, back-up generator, universal adapter, and CCTV. Wake up call service available upon request.

  • Parking: Sufficient parking garage is available.

  • Year built / refurbished: Built in 2011.

  • Surface total area: 2,100 sqm (land).

Weddings & Events

  • Maximum number of guests: 30 to 50 guests (seating and standing combined).
  • Minimum Nights: Follow the season’s minimum length of stay.
    • Low and Shoulder seasons: 3 nights
    • High seasons: 5 nights (for select wedding villas)
    • Peak Christmas and New Year seasons: 7-10 nights
  • Event Fee: USD 1,200 + 7% tax.
  • Small Events Policy: Pre- or post-event functions held on the day before or after the main event are equivalent to 50% of the Main Event Fee.
  • Security deposit to be paid upon arrival to the villa. Note that the security deposit fee is dependent on the number of guests attending the event. This will be used at the Property Management Company's discretion to cover cost of service or replacement in case of breakages or damages to the property prior, during or after the event takes place. This amount is 100% refundable if there are no damages to the property.
  • Music Curfew for sound systems, live bands and DJs is only until 12:00 midnight.
  • Fireworks are not allowed at The View Samui due to safety reasons.
  • Sky Lanterns are prohibited by the local government in Koh Samui.
  • Event guidelines and accurate quotations are available on request only.
  • The above rates are subject to change without prior notice. Other charges may apply on request basis.
  • We are an advocate for the prevention of cruelty and ethical care of elephants and wildlife. We do not allow nor condone the hiring and use of elephants and/or other wildlife for any events held in the villa and in the immediate surrounding areas of the villa (i.e. beach).

  • Children 5 years old and below stay for free when sharing existing bedding with parents.
  • Extra bed is available at USD $50++ per person per night. Only two (2) additional beds can be arranged for this property.
  • Rates quoted refer to the maximum occupancy of the villa, as shown in the provided publication and invoice. The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation and reservation voucher, unless specifically authorised in writing. Exceeding the number may invalidate any insurance policy on the Property. Entry or access to the Property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement.
