Named after the Japanese word for “harvest moon”, Meigetsu Aki Niseko captures the essence of blissful alpine living in Upper Hirafu. The 446 sqm chalet is less than 500m from the ski lifts, two gondolas and nearby restaurants. Winter services include a butler, and two vehicles with drivers, ensuring every detail of your stay is effortlessly taken care of.

Built in 2025, this chalet is the perfect launchpad for luxury ski holidays and summer escapes. Designed by Japan’s leading firm, Nomura, the four-bedroom chalet blends modern Japanese elegance with natural textures and rose gold accents. The four-storey property features curved wooden louvres that bring to mind fresh tracks on powder snow, enhanced with the elegance of black stone.

Inside, the open-plan living and dining area exudes understated sophistication, complemented by a chic indoor bar and a kitchen fully equipped with luxury appliances and a wine cooler. Each bedroom comes with an ensuite bathroom; one bedroom features a king bed with two additional bunk beds, ideal for families.

The top floor is dedicated to relaxation, featuring a spa room with a sauna, cold plunge, and soaking tub, as well as a rooftop bar and outdoor dining area. Additional amenities include ski storage, laundry facilities, an indoor garage and an elevator that’s connected to all floors.

Details

  • Complimentary Concierge Service with our Guest Experience Team, including arrangement of airport transfers, ski & snowboarding essentials (lift passes, lessons, gear rental), other snow activities, car hire, and restaurant reservations.
  • Upon check-in, there will be complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, body soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, dishwasher powder, washing powder, tissues and cleaning products.
  • A Private Vehicle Service is included in winter bookings: 2 Nisade vehicles with driver service are available from 8:00 to 22:00 during the winter season (01 Dec to 31 Mar). Two drivers per shift (AM and PM); the vehicles and drivers are exclusive to Meigetsu Aki Niseko guests. The operating range of this winter driver service covers transfers between the chalet and Hanazono, Hirafu, Niseko Village, Annupuri and Kutchan.

Child Policy and Extra Bedding

  • Extra person (6 years old and above) counts toward maximum occupancy allowed for each accommodation.
  • A child 5 years old and below can stay for free in existing bedding.
  • Extra bedding for infants (5 years old and below) is a baby cot/futon and highchair at JPY 5,000 per child for every 4 nights.
  • Extra person (6 years old and above) fee of JPY 12,000 per person per night is applicable when occupants exceed the standard occupancy for the respective unit. An extra futon will be arranged in the media room and not in the bedrooms due to limited space.
  • In the situation that an extra guest stays for only part of the nights booked, the extra person fee still applies for the total nights of the group stay.
  • Maximum of 2 extra guests allowed.

Bedding Preference

  • Bedding may be flexible in the accommodation, but varies from bedroom to bedroom.
  • Bedding will be arranged in the standard bedding configuration unless specified otherwise in writing to [email protected] at least 14 days prior to arrival date. Last-minute bedding changes shall be subject to a surcharge.
  • Where the bedding configuration is not supplied within the required time-frame or is incorrect on check-in and needs to be changed, an amendment fee per bedroom will be charged.

Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in: 3:00 PM.
    • Check-in will be at the property. Guests must advise our Reservations team of their estimated time of arrival in advance.
    • Copies of passports and credit card details for the security deposit are required at check-in.
  • Check-out: 10:00 AM.
    • All luggage and personal belongings must be removed from rooms by the check-out time.
  • Kindly note that late check-outs are not available during Peak Season (01 Dec to 31 Mar). Should there be a late check-out available, late check-out fee may apply.
  • Early check-in/late check-out requests will be subject to availability on arrival/departure to the property outside of Peak season (01 Apr to 30 Nov).

Cleaning Service

  • Service Clean on 1st day and subsequent odd days, which includes light clean of rooms, replacement of towels and garbage removal
  • Mid Clean on the 2nd day and subsequent even days during peak season (Dec to Mar); every 4th day during April; Includes service clean plus change of linen and vacuum-cleaning of rooms

Property Regulations

  • Guests accept responsibility for damage to the property, the room (including common areas), fittings, furniture, keys and other properties caused during their occupation, including any consequential losses incurred.
  • No smoking is allowed in the property (including balcony areas). Guests who smoke will be liable to pay a JPY 500,000 fine and additional damage charges may apply to compensate later guests who are affected by the smell of smoking or the owner of the property for bookings that need to be relocated to a different property.
  • No pets are allowed in any accommodation, either inside, outside or in vehicles parked at the accommodation.
  • The property has a car garage with an electric vehicle charger and outdoor parking.
