Weddings & Events

• Maximum number of guests: 80 to 150 guests (seating and standing combined). Event will be held outdoor and two (2) villas in the Chai Talay Estate should be booked.
• Minimum Nights: Follow the season’s minimum length of stay.
  • Low and Shoulder seasons: 3 nights
  • High seasons: 4 nights
  • Peak Christmas and New Year seasons: 7-10 nights
• Event Fees:
  • USD 1,200 + 7% tax for events up to 80 guests.
  • USD 1,500 + 7% tax for events up to 150 guests.
  • Optional fee: USD 600 + 7% tax for pre- or post-event casual gatherings (up to 50 guests).
• Security deposit to be paid upon arrival to the villa. Note that the security deposit fee is dependent on the number of guests attending the event. This will be used at the Property Management Company's discretion to cover cost of service or replacement in case of breakages or damages to the property prior, during or after the event takes place. This amount is 100% refundable if there are no damages to the property.
• Music Curfew for sound systems, live bands and DJs is only until 12:00 midnight.
• Fireworks are allowed only for weddings, and a permit needs to be approved by local authorities at least 2 weeks before the event.
• Sky Lanterns are prohibited by the local government in Koh Samui.
• Event guidelines and accurate quotations are available on request only.
• The above rates are subject to change without prior notice. Other charges may apply on request basis.
• We are an advocate for the prevention of cruelty and ethical care of elephants and wildlife. We do not allow nor condone the hiring and use of elephants and/or other wildlife for any events held in the villa and in the immediate surrounding areas of the villa (i.e. beach).

Details

• Rates include Welcome drink, daily breakfast, complimentary WiFi, and services by the villa team (Villa manager, private chef, housekeepers, and handymen).
• Private Chef service is included. An additional kitchen chef/hand is required if either one of the following conditions apply: (i) The number of staying adults in the villa is 14 persons or more; (ii) The number of staying guests (including children) in the villa is 18 persons or more. An additional kitchen hand costs THB 1,000++ per day whereas an additional chef costs THB 2,500++ per day. Rates are subject to 10% service charge and 7% VAT. This extra cost may be settled on-site. Meals will be served family-style. Guests, especially big groups, are requested to dine together at the same time to ensure a smooth meal service. If a la carte style and/or more than one-sitting is required per meal, an additional kitchen chef is required.
• 1x round trip airport transfer (2 vans only for each way, 8 persons per van depending on the number of luggage).
• A driver and car rental service is available upon request (extra charge).
• Additional transfer is available at extra charge (at taxi rate).
• Spa treatments, massages services, and additional yoga sessions are available upon request (extra charge).
• Tours and activities such as art and cultural excursions, cooking lessons are available upon request (extra charge).

Child Policy and Extra Bedding

• A complimentary two baby cots and two high chairs are available at the villa.
• An additional baby cot is charged at USD $10++ per unit per day and an additional high chair is charged at USD $5++ per unit per day.
• Babysitting service available on request at extra charge.
• Children 5 years old and below stay for free when sharing existing bedding with parents.
• Extra bed is available at USD $50++ per person per night. Only two (2) additional beds can be arranged for this property.
• Laundry/Dry Cleaning Service available on request (extra charge) and must be paid at the time incurred or at the time of departure. Staff will only wash small and inexpensive items.
• Rates quoted refer to the maximum occupancy of the villa, as shown in the provided publication and invoice. The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation and reservation voucher, unless specifically authorised in writing. Exceeding the number may invalidate any insurance policy on the Property. Entry or access to the Property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement.

Check-In and Check-Out

• Check-in time: 3:00 pm
• Check-out time: Strictly by 11:00 am
• To maintain the highest standards at Baan Kilee, early check-in and late check-out are not available. To make your arrival and departure more comfortable, we’ve partnered with Tembo Beach Club, where you can relax, refresh, and be pampered while waiting for check-in or your flight home.

Smoking and Pet Policy

• Smoking is allowed at designated smoking areas only.
• While we love our furry friends, pets are not allowed on this particular property.

Insurance

• It is a condition of the booking that the entire party must arrange its own comprehensive travel insurance cover (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage). Neither we nor any staff are responsible for any and all claims, including any accidents related to the use of the Villa facilities or locally procured third party services such as, watercraft, water sports, jeep or motorbike rental etc.
• As deposits and rental payments are strictly NON refundable after a reservation has been confirmed, we highly recommend that insurance cover purchased by the individual making the booking “the booking party” should be an all inclusive travel insurance which covers all your expenses (villa payments) if you have to cancel your journey last minute, for any reason
• Neither we nor any staff shall be responsible for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events outside our control such as civil disturbances, fires, floods, severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government etc.
